What Happened After I Started Using An Eyelash-Growth Serum

Can we be real for a moment? Eyelashes are kind of a big deal. I mean, we all want them— preferably in thick, dark and long form— and we do everything we can maximize them on the daily... it's kind of exhausting. If I could track the number of mascara tubes I've gone through over the years, well, I'm sure that would be a real eye-opener (bad pun— sorry, had to). And while the thought of using a hardcore lash serum like Latisse scares the bejesus out of me, I felt compelled to try the gentler, less side-effect ridden option from EyEnvy. Here's what happened.

Well, nothing. Not at first at least. I picked up a tube at the beginning of the year and started applying it daily, anxiously running to the mirror each morning to see if my lashes looked any different. They didn't, and nothing really changed for several weeks (results are supposed to kick in around the 4-6 week mark). But since I had shelled out for this product (100 big ones) and didn't want that to go waste, I continued applying the serum each morning not expecting much. Then, slowly over time, I started to notice that my lashes looked a little longer after applying mascara. Weeks later, friends started to comment on how long my lashes looked... and just like that, the product finally kicked in. My bare lashes looked visibly thicker and longer, and when I applied mascara, it was some next level shit. Not sure why it took so long to kick in (like, we're talking over three months of daily use), or if that's similar to other people's experience with this product, but it was def worth the wait.

If you're curious, I've included the ingredient list for this product below, and here's a link to it's FAQ page. #TheMoreYouKnow
