Last week, I had the pleasure of stopping by my pal Cory Christopher's studio to put together a fun little DIY project that you can whip up in a jiffy for Mother's Day — I know, totally stunning, right? We don't call Cory the flower whisperer for nothing ;)

SUPPLIES: WOODEN NESTS | RIBBON | SCISSORS | MOSS | OASIS FLORAL FOAM | FLOWERS OF YOUR CHOICE
Start by cutting three equal-length pieces of ribbon and tying them to the sides of each nest, creating a triangle shape. Add a generous amount of moss to the base of the nest and place a previously-soaked oasis floral foam in the centre.

Now comes the fun part — the flowers! Add whichever variety or combination you like, and be sure to get creative... there's no right or wrong here, people! I'm personally a big fan of anything that's of the pastel persuasion, but do whatever you (or more importantly, mom) like.
To preserve your arrangement, water it a couple times and hang it over a sink to drain fully. This arrangement may not be the most long-lasting, but it sure is pretty while it lasts!

And that's it! With just a handful of materials and about 15 minutes of your time, you can make something special for mom this year — thanks for the inspiration, Cory! xx
