Geometry Lesson

Blouse, trousers + bag- DKNY West Edmonton Mall | heels- Kate Spade c/o Shopbop | sunnies- Forever 21
The weekend was incredibly warm and beautiful in my little iceberg of a city, so I had the luxury of grabbing coffee with a girlfriend both coat AND snow boot free... that may not sound like a big accomplishment depending on where you live, but just roll with it. For my big and almost certainly temporary parlay into spring, I decided to go full throttle and load up on matching prints. Just when you thought a silky geometric top and matching trouser set was risque enough, this girl had to go and throw in a bag. Heck, if I had geometric shoes and a blazer at my disposal, you better believe I would have been wearing those as well — leave no print behind, ladies. The best part? Wearing this outfit made me feel like I was being transported to some glamorous European city, sipping espresso in outdoor cafes while being doted on by sophisticated expats... but hey, Italian Centre coffee with Ashley works too! I think that's the beauty of DKNY's spring collection — it allows you to play dress up in the most delightful of ways. After all, isn't that the whole point? xx
