If you know me— and my girlfriends can attest to this— I'm always complaining about how flat and listless my hair is. No matter what products I use or how often I tease it, my hair always seems to just fall flat. Not exactly the biggest problem in the world, sure, but if limp hair drives you equally nuts, I wanted to share a product that's been pretty remarkable at beefing up my locks— Lush's aptly named shampoo, BIG

Now I won't lie, I was totally weirded out by this product when I first saw it. It's packed with coarse sea salt and has a very different texture to your average shampoo, so I thought maybe I had ordered an exfoliant by mistake. But just push through any feelings of uncertainty you may have around this, because I'm telling you— this stuff is awesome. Sea salt is packed with minerals and is great for removing grease, dead skin cells and dirt, and because this product is formulated with seaweed and extra virgin coconut oil, it leaves locks just as nourished as they are clean. Just don't use too much; a little goes a long way, and you wan't to make sure to rinse it all out thoroughly to reap the benefits— namely, the most bouncy, voluminous hair imaginable. Apparently this product is a best-seller for Lush, and I can definitely see why.

Not exactly big-hair related, but I've really been enjoying the brand's American Cream conditioner as well, and I find it complements the shampoo nicely. But if I'm being totally honest, it's the smell that keeps me coming back for more; take it from me, strawberry-vanilla is a highly addictive scent, and worth every penny. Lush is quickly becoming one of my favourite brands because of the natural, quality ingredients they use and their stance against animal testing, so expect to see a lot more of them around here in the months to come. If you have any must-try products from the brand, or products you would like to hear a review on, I'm all ears! xx
