Remember how "arm parties" were a thing back in 2011? Well now it's all about rocking multiple earrings— an "ear party," if you will— with statement pieces becoming bigger, and more out-there, than ever before (80's jewels notwithstanding). Last summer was all about the tassels, which I'm personally still a fan of, but this season we're seeing more geometric and sculptural influences on the market. Case in point, these hand earrings from Young Frankk. Pretty dope, right? The moment I saw them over on Anomie, I knew they had to be mine. The brand is known for their minimalist, yet totally eye-catching pieces, and these bad boys are no exception. They're gold plated (placing them on the more affordable side of the spectrum) and handmade in the US, making them ethical to boot.
Another great example of a sculptural, ethically-produced statement earring is this pair from Open House Projects, available from New Classics... happy shopping!
