I've been a fan of hydrogel masks for some time now (sheet masks just aren't the same), and I normally stalk my local Face Shop until their range of face and eye hydrogels are back in stock — what can I say, good things sell out fast. So you can imagine my excitement to try Boscia's version, mainly because they're readily available at Sephora and I won't have to worry about restocking each time I use the last of my stash... #NeuroticGirlProblems. Anyway, turns out that not only are they reliably sourced, but they're pretty darn awesome, too.

These ones in particular are infused with Sake, antioxidants and plant extracts to brighten, firm and hydrate the eye area, reducing the look of fine lines and fatigue. I've only used them once (they come in a pack of three), but so far I'm hooked. If you haven't used a product like this before, basically you place the mask on clean skin for about 20 minutes, during which time all the liquid (or 'essence') from the mask is absorbed deep into the skin. In my experience, hydrogel masks are far more effective than any other treatment for hydrating the under eyes, and they're just so quick and easy to throw on in the morning while I answer emails. The only thing I don't like about this type of product is that it's a one-time use and therefore quite wasteful from an environmental perspective, so I'm definitely on the lookout for other options — if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears! Until then, you know what I'll be using. xx
