3 masacras to try
The other day, a friend of mine asked me over Snapchat which mascara I'm currently using, and that got me to thinking — even though mascara is an incredibly personal thing (what works for me may not work for you, and vice versa), one of the key tenants of girlfriendom is sharing tid bits like that with each other. I have no problem remembering to tell you guys about a lipstick I'm loving or a new skincare product that's completely rocking my world, but I always forget about mascara, even though it's something most of us can't live without. So with that in mind, here's a look at my top three mascaras of all-time... I generally like to wear a mixture of all three at any given time, but in order of most to least beloved, here's the dirt:

L'Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga // If I could only use one mascara for the rest of my days, this would be it. It plumps, it lengthens, it does it all... and all for under $10. Can you say holy grail?

Buxom Sculpted Lash ($24) // The wand on this one is amazing — it's S-shaped, which makes application a breeze, plus its formula is super nourishing and clump-resistant, which gets a big thumbs up from me. This one is my go-to on minimal makeup days.

Covergirl The Super Sizer // This mascara is great if you're after super thick lashes. I personally don't find it does much in the length department, so I like to top it off with a little Miss Manga to get the full-meal deal. Together they make for an unbeatable combo, and bonus, they're both super affordable.
