Zinfadel' is amazing any time of the year), so I was really curious to try this new range of Canadian maple matte cream lipsticks. And just as I had suspected, they smell of sweet maple syrup, which is something to keep in mind if sugary sweet scents are not your jam. Even so, these might be worth a try for the formula itself — it's creamy and smooth on the lips, but still gives a nice, demi-matte wash of pigment, which is pretty amazing. The colours are perfect for fall ('Warmed Maple' and 'Mulled Maple' are my personal favourites) and I love that they're created with natural and food-grade ingredients, and are free of parabens, sulfates and other nasties, which is probably a far cry from some of the other lipsticks in my collection... food for thought.
If you're interested in trying out this range, they will be available at Sephora until October, and retail for $28 a pop... happy shopping! xx
