Two To Try

A couple weeks ago, I had a transformative experience at Sephora... I mean, every trip to Sephora is transformative, but stay with me here. A couple Tarte reps from New York happened to be in-store that fateful day, and one handsome gent in particular (waddup, Brian!) offered to do my makeup... sure, twist my rubber arm. Anyway, homeboy introduced me to two of the greatest products to hit my makeup stash since Stila's liquid liner — and I don't say that lightly. I had been struggling with concealers drying out my under eyes, and when I mentioned that to Brian, he quickly proceeded to dab Tarte's Maracuja Creaseless Concealer under my eyes, excitedly showing me the result. And you know what? He nailed it. I've been using this bad boy everyday since, and it feels almost like applying eye cream, only with seriously brightening, dark-circle erasing effects. As the name suggests, it really is creaseless, which is impressive considering how hydrating it is... I swear, maracuja must be Brazilian for witch craft.

Next came the Tarte Cheek Stain in 'Blushing Bride,' a cream blush that adds a nice pop of colour and an even nicer pop of hydration (are we sensing a theme here?). It blends into the skin seamlessly with fingers or a stippling brush and leaves a nice glow that lasts most of the day (but not quite the 12 hours the package boasts). All in all, these two can be summed up in one simple hashtag — #gamechanger. xx
