Battle Of The Brushes

I've been a massive Tangle Teaser* fan for the past few years, but when I had the chance to test out the Wet Brush* to see how it compares, I was all in. As you probably know by now, the Tangle Teaser has been famed for "breaking the cycle of broken hair and giving tangled locks the brush off" — genius, right? Well, sort of. As great as the Tangle Teaser is for its ergonomic design and stout little bristles working through tangles, the Wet Brush is miles ahead of the hair game IMO. I find its long, flexible bristles way more gentle on my hair, and the little SoftTips balls they're topped with are supposed to massage the scalp and stimulate hair follicles, which is a lot more than I can say for its tangle-teasing predecessor. It works great on wet and dry hair alike, and has cut down my brushing time in a big way... and same goes for Mr. AiF! The two brushes are also comparable in price ($14.99 for the Tangle Teaser versus $15.99 for the Wet Brush), so aside from portability, there's really no reason not to go for the Wet Brush — believe me, your hair will thank you. xx
