3 New Accessories

Ear muffs- Anthropologie | copper clutch- SMK via New Classics Studio | sunglasses- Forever 21
What does it say about a person when all their latest purchases colour coordinate? Is that some sort of monochrome, basic bae territory, or just the mark of a cohesive collection? Let's go with a bit of both. It just hit me this morning that I'm having a bit of a copper/blush-toned moment right now, and I'm so OK with that. It's like the perfect transitional tone, bridging the gap between warm-toned fall/winter shades and the lighter palate that's on the horizon for spring — and I didn't even plan it (snap!).

It all started with the Anthropologie ear muffs. I'm a total newbie to the store (shock horror), but one of my besties works there and after years of hearing about it, I've finally dipped my toe into the Anthro pool... and it's not the worst. I now have a top, a bunch of candles and these ear muffs to call my own. The muffs (is that weird to say?) were on super clearance and are unfortunately now sold out, but in my neck of the woods, totally still wearable most days (current warm snap excluded). All I can say is I wish I had known about them sooner, but better late than never where ear warmth is concerned, right?

Next came this copper beauty from my friend Alyssa's shop, New Classics Studios, which I'm straight up obsessed with. I've worn it on the daily since she kindly dropped it off for me, and let me tell you, the compliments come a flowing when this puppy is on your arm... who knew lunch bags could be so chic?

The final accessory in the trilogy are these amazing Karen Walker-inspired sunglasses from Forever 21, which I scored over the weekend for under $7 — I'll just give you a minute to let that set in. There are no words to describe how I feel about this find other than HOT DAMN, baby did good. Expect to see a lot of these little darlings in the months to come.

The best part? How well all my newness goes with my favourite Sole Society shoes that I'm slowly able to wear again... the stars really aligned for this one, ladies and gents. xx
