The Dry Shampoo That Just Won't Quit

Finding a decent dry shampoo is no small feat — I can't even tell you how many bottles I've gone through in the name of finding one that doesn't leave a white, streaky finish or, you know, actually absorbs oil... the struggle is real, ladies. So after hearing UK beauty bloggers go on and on about Ruth Crilly's new range of dry shampoos for COLAB, I was desperate to get my hands on a bottle. The problem? I have no idea where — or even if — you can buy the stuff in Canada. So you can imagine my delight when I bypassed the Internet and actually picked up a bottle at Winner's last weekend (thanks to an alert from M, the jegging-recommending bestie). Wherever you live, if you can get your hands on a bottle, DO IT. This stuff is seriously amazing; it works a treat and it smells incredible, which is actually a harder combination to come by from a dry shampoo than you might think... consider this a PSA to kick start your weekends. xx

  1. Hi there,

I stumbled upon your page sometime last year and now this is how I start my mornings, starbucks in hand and at least a couple minutes checking out your page.

I have purchased many of your recommendations and they are life-changing (especially beauty and hair things).

So just giving you a shutout and saying thank you for making my mornings. Nice to see there are stylish people in my city (was starting to lose hope for a while).

    Thanks for making my day!

    M

  2. Hi Vickie! Can you tell me whether or not this one has had any issues with clogging at the nozzle? I've tried a couple brands now, and it doesn't seem to matter whether or not I rinse the nozzle after every use, I've yet to find one that doesn't clog up after a week or two. Any thoughts?

    1. Hi Cassie! To be honest, I haven't had it long enough to know if it clogs or not, but my suggestion would be to just poke the nozzle with a pin to unclog it — I haven't really had that issue with any dry shampoos I've used, but it has happened to me with hairspray before, so I feel your pain. Hope that helps!
