New In: Tweezerman's Brush IQ

A few months ago, I received a some brushes from Tweezerman's latest drop, their Brush IQ range. What sets these brushes apart from others is their bristles, which are made of synthetic filaments that mimic the texture of animal-hair bristles. So instead of worrying about having synthetic brushes for your cream or liquid makeup, and natural hair bristles for your powder-based products, the thought is you only need these... especially since they won't irritate your skin. Smart, huh?

I've been using mine for several weeks now, and I'm generally quite impressed; the blush brush (my favourite in the range) glides across the skin effortlessly and deposits just the right amount of product, while the line glider and brow brush work a treat. The contour concealer and pointed foundation brush aren't bad, but they don't do it for me the way that their Real Techniques counterparts do. All in all, it's a pretty good range and very affordable, so I would definitely recommend dabbling in it if you're in need of some new brushes but don't want to spend outlandish amounts of money to apply your makeup... I know I don't. xx
