Daniel Wellington 4Evah

Can we just take a moment to talk about what's happening in the world of watches right now? If you had told me that I would be trading in my giant, golden, Mr. T-approved timepiece for a sleek, leather option, I would have told you to get a grip. Fast forward one year, and it's sleek leather, all the time. How does that happen? Just when you think you know your personal style, BAM! Something comes along that completely catches you off guard, and bit by bit, it wears you down to to the point where you find yourself (shock horror) actually wearing it. That was the case for me earlier this year with Birkenstocks, and now it's happened again with Daniel Wellington watches... but do you want to know what's funny? I don't think I've ever been more excited about a watch before in my entire life (save for the Cinderella watch of '93, but that's another story).

I don't know what it is about this company in particular, but they just have it going on. Their designs are sleek, their watches are extremely well-made, and their branding is completely on point. I love that the minimalistic design goes with just about anything, not to mention the fact that the mister and I can actually share a watch if we wanted to... but let's not be crazy.

Guess what else? The good people of DW have offered to give you guys 15% off any purchase from now until Oct. 15 using the code "adventuresinfashion" — how sweet is that?! Stay tuned tomorrow to see how I styled this new beauty, and as always, happy Wardrobe Wednesday! xx

  1. Couldn't agree more...I've been wearing mine for almost a year and I'm still in love!!
The face does scratch quite easy but there's diamond polishing paste that you can get on eBay that helps diminish the scratches quite well! :)
